Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Milwaukee) vs. Wright State Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 7:00pm EST
The Wright State Raiders host the Milwaukee Panthers on Thursday. Wright State is coming off an 85-77 home loss to Cleveland State. The Raiders finished the game shooting 48.1% (25-52) from the field and 42.9% (6-14) from long range. Wright State pulled down 27 total rebounds with 21 being on the defensive end and dished out 12 assists.
Before their overtime contest earlier this month, Milwaukee was 8-0-1 ATS in their last nine games against Wright State. The underdog has covered in nine of their last 10 games against each other (the only exception was a push back in Dec. 2019).
Wright State triumphed 78-74 when they last played Wisconsin Milwaukee. The past 10 games between the teams have seen Wright State win eight times. The Raiders are struggling defensively, allowing 74 points to opponents which is ranked 300th. The Panthers have covered the spread in each of their last seven games except for the one against the Raiders. Milwaukee has been playing at a consistently higher level this season which is why they sit at the top of the Horizon League. They have a better balance between offense and defense that I think will be enough for them to not only cover but win outright.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Houston Rockets NBA Pick Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 7:00pm EST
Offensively, these two teams are evenly matched but Milwaukee is hitting shots from downtown and pulling down rebounds at a higher clip than Wright State. Milwaukee gets revenge and wins. This is a revenge game for the Panthers, and I think they're going to come much more prepared for this rematch. I like them to cover. College Basketball BET ON Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Milwaukee) +4.
